Barrow in-Furness June 2025

The sixth ranking tournament weekend of the 2024-25 season.

The first BDDA event held in Barrow in-Furness and what a weekend it was for all taking part.

It was great to see the return of Darren Brook back competing again.

In the BDDA Lake`s Classic on the Saturday there was a group of death in group 1 with Darren Kennish Mark Couchman and Gavin Hibbert doing battle, Local Hero Mark winning both his games to top the group and Gavin taking second place in the group by beating Darren.

In group 2 Amar Kumar Dehar won both his games to top the group and Darren Brook taking second spot with his victory over Nathan Butler.

The Semi Finals saw Mark defeat Darren 3-0 and Gavin defeating Amar 3-1.

In the final Mark ran out a 4-0 winner over Gavin and took the title of BDDA LAKES CLASSIC 2025

So onto Sunday in the BDDA Lake`s Open, Group 1 being the group of death again, this time Mark Couchman and Gavin Hibbert were joined by Amar Kumar Dehar. Mark won both his games to finish top of group and Amar produced a fine victory over Gavin to book his place in the semi finals.

In group 2 Darren Kennish overcome his defeats from the day before to win both games in this group and take top spot, Darren Brook took second place.

In the semi finals Mark Couchman beat Darren Brook 3-0 and Darren Kennish beat Amar Dehar 3-0.

in a brilliant tense Final, with legs of 23 23 22 23 28 27 the deciding leg in 22 darts, the win went to Mark Couchman as he defeated Darren Kennish to make it a double winning weekend and adding the BDDA Lakes Open 2025 Title.
